Point Distribution

Last updated 6 months ago

Users participating in ACTIVE raids can gain the following points. There are NO more points distributed as soon as a raid is .

🔨 Smash - 2 points 🔁 Repost - 3 points 💬 Comment - 4 points Those points shown above are fixed. They can´t be changed and are set to fit the Twitter algorithm best. While reposts and comments should not need any further clarification, it´s important to understand what a is. A "Smash" is generated as soon as a user hits the "Smash It" Button within the WebApp. This directs him to the raided tweet. This generates a view on the tweet and gains a user 2 points immediately. Of course, these 2 points are only distributed on first view. The point distribution for a "Smash" is made immediately. However, that´s different to all other points. Those other points for Repost or Comment are distributed AFTER a raid comes to an end. As soon as a (manually resumed, target met or a new raid was started) the bot does an audit of the raided tweet. It checks and analyzes all interactions done by each user and distributes points to users accordingly. It will trigger a which is explained in more detail within another section. To prevent spamming, the bot will only count one comment. So you won´t get additional points for multiple comments.

Points are only distributed for ACTIVE raids. So as soon as a , users cannot earn points anymore. People can still use the bot to be redirected to the tweet, but they won´t get points anymore.

Points for "Smashes" are distributed immediately! All other points are distributed AFTER the raid ends!

In the event of a tie in points, the RaidSharksBot Leaderboard will rank users based on account age, with the oldest verified account receiving the top position. It is up to individual projects to determine how to address ties in manual competitions.

Shadow Ban Detection

RaidSharksBot is made to reward those people, who are pushing your project and are helping you to gain more exposure on Twitter (X). Therefore RaidSharksBot does not distribute any points for those interactions, which are made from Shadow Banned Twitter (X) Accounts! This is implemented on purpose, cause any interaction with Shadow banned accounts, could also cause other users to get shadow banned quick. The bot helps users to recognize a shadow ban quicker. Most people would not even know about a shadow ban without using RaidSharksBot, so it heavily increases efficiency of your raids and reduces the risk to get flagged by Twitter (X).

Please note that a shadow ban is implemented by Twitter (X) and is unrelated to the usage of the bot. Shadow bans are solely a consequence of user behavior on Twitter (X). The bot merely redirects users to Twitter (X), where all subsequent interactions occur organically on the platform. So please check Twitter (X) terms and policies for further information how to prevent and remove shadow bans.
